Swung vases, which gained popularity in the 50's - 60's, were created when hot glass was literally swung and as it cooled the edges came to the unique freeform shapes we love so much. Up for grabs is a beautiful example of these collectable vintage vases in striking amethyst color.
The vase stands 16" tall and is 3" across base.
The vase is in good vintage condition. There is a 1" surface scratch on the back of the vase - see last photo for a closeup. Due to the handblown creation of the vase there are a few bubbles present - see photos.
