Vintage Chinese Hinged Brass Box with Inlaid Jade and Etched Dragon, Butterfly, Phoenix and Whale Designs
A beautiful vintage Chinese hinged brass box with the most beautiful details. First you'll find an inlaid jade medallion with carved bird detail on the lid of the box surrounded by etched butterflies. Then, around the sides of the box are gorgeous depictions of a dragon, phoenix bird, and even two sweet whales making this such an interesting piece! The interior of the box is lined in wood. This unique piece would make a beautiful addition to a your home to store small trinkets or jewelry.

The box measures 6 1/4" wide x 3 1/2" deep x 2 1/2" tall
The box is in good antique condition with some beautiful natural patina and age spots with minimal surface wear.
