Vintage Mid-Century Opalescent Blue Swung Glass Vase

Sorry, this item has sold.

Swung glass vases, which gained popularity in the 50's - 60's, were created when hot glass was literally swung and as it cooled the edges came to the unique freeform shapes we love so much. Up for grabs is a beautiful example of these collectable vintage vases in a beautiful and rare shade of opalescent blue.

Not sure of the maker but it may have be Northwood.

The vase measures 13 3/4" tall and is 3 3/4" across base.

The vase is in good vintage condition with one minor chip on the underside of the base - see 7th photo for a closeup. Inside the vase is very clean and looks to be unused.
